Anti-Spam Policy

This Anti-Spam Policy explains how LayGen Inc d/b/a Lume ("Lume", "we", "us", and "our") approaches unwanted messaging across the channels we support, and how you can report abuse or opt out of messages. Lume is a messaging-automation platform for ecommerce stores on Shopify and Wix, delivering messages through WhatsApp and SMS/MMS. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What is spam?
We view spam as any unwanted message sent through the Service (including WhatsApp and SMS/MMS) — for example, messages sent to a recipient who never opted in, messages sent after a recipient has opted out, or messages that are misleading, deceptive, or sent without a lawful basis. Because Lume supports multiple channels, this applies to WhatsApp messages, SMS, and MMS alike.
2. How can I report spam to Lume?
If you need to report any spam, improper use, or violations of the Lume Terms of Service, please contact us at any time at hi@golume.app or via the chat button on our website. We take these reports seriously and will investigate them promptly.
3. How can I unsubscribe from a campaign?
You can opt out of future marketing messages powered by Lume at any time:
- SMS/MMS: reply with the word "STOP" to the number you received messages from.
- WhatsApp: reply "STOP" to the WhatsApp conversation, or use any opt-out option provided in the message. You may also block the sender within WhatsApp.
Once you opt out, Lume will stop sending you marketing messages on that channel. If you continue to receive unwanted messages after opting out, please report it to hi@golume.app.
4. What is Lume's Anti-Spam Policy?
Lume does not tolerate spam on any channel. We reserve the right to pause or terminate any campaigns or accounts we have determined to be in violation of this Anti-Spam Policy or our Terms of Service.
Customers (the merchants who use Lume) are responsible for obtaining proper consent from their Subscribers before sending messages and for honoring opt-out requests. WhatsApp messages are delivered via the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and are subject to WhatsApp's Business and Commerce Policies. SMS is delivered via third-party telecom messaging providers and is subject to carrier rules and US TCPA where applicable.
