How is setup so fast?
Lume connects to your WhatsApp account by QR code — the same method WhatsApp Web uses. Click install on Shopify or Wix, scan a code with your phone, you're sending. If you'd rather use the official Business API later, we support that too.
What does WhatsApp cost on top of Lume?
On the QR connection, sending is free under WhatsApp's standard terms. On the official Business API, Meta charges per conversation — typically $0.005–$0.08 depending on country and message type. Lume shows you a running spend total so there are zero surprises.
Will customers think this is spam?
Lume only sends transactional messages — order confirmations, shipping updates, cart recovery — to customers who just bought from you. These aren't marketing blasts. Customers can reply STOP and we never message them again. We don't let you build broadcast spam.
Can I customize the messages?
Yes. Every template is editable. Change the wording, add emoji, swap the timing, A/B test variants on Pro. Defaults are sensible enough to launch in two minutes, but every word is yours.
Does Lume work in my language?
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese — built in, auto-detected per customer. The admin UI translates too. German and Italian are next.
What if I cancel?
Lume turns off cleanly. No orphan widgets, no theme code left behind. We delete your data after 30 days. There's a cancel button in settings — no fighting a chatbot.
Shopify and Wix — same product?
Same automations, same templates, same dashboard, same price. The native admin layer is different on each platform (Shopify Polaris on one, Wix design system on the other), but everything you do works identically.
